Description

The Trafford Centre opened its doors in 1998 and is still one of Britain’s largest indoor shopping centres. Since it opened it has seen several extensions including the Great Hall, which contains the world’s largest chandelier, and the recently opened Barton Square.

The buildings stunning architecture can be seen through out the centre, with impressive fountains, columns, illuminated glass domes and statues providing a unique environment.

Location

The Trafford Centre is located approximately 5 ½ miles west of Manchester's city centre, situated in the borough of Trafford. The shopping centre is highly accessible by road, with easy access on to both junctions 9 and 10 of the M60 orbital ring road.

The centre is well served by a variety of bus routes, linking the site to Manchester and the surrounding area as well as the metro link and rail stations. Manchester International Airport is approximately 15 minutes drive away.
