Partington is a small town that sits on the Manchester Ship Canal approximately 10 miles south west of Manchester City Centre. Peel can offer two large contrasting sites, the first of which is Partington Shopping Centre.
The original centre was built in the 1980's and plans are currently underway to redevelop the centre and as such, the majority of tenants have now vacated the precinct. In addition to the shopping centre there is also a former health centre opposite and market stands situated towards the southern end of the site.
The second site is situated on the canal side and has a mixture of industrial and rural backdrops. The site goes down to the canal's edge and offers views of the surrounding area including Cadishead Viaduct, a disused railway viaduct.
Partington is situated in the borough of Trafford and is just over 10 miles outside of Manchester City Centre. The area is conveniently located with junction 8 of the M60 and junction 21 of the M6 both 10 minutes drive away. Manchester International airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from Partington.
By rail, Partington is served by Flixton Railway Station swhich is just over 3 miles away and offers an hourly service into the city centre. For a more frequent service passengers can use Irlam Railway Station which offers a similar service every half an hour and is located 7 miles away.
