Calder Park is a unique business park, combining stylish office developments with a 100 acre wetland nature reserve. The park is constantly growing with new developments springing up throughout the site, however, the picturesque scenery still remains.

Peel owns a number of development plots and various private roads running through the site. In addition Peel can provide access onto the nature reserve which is home to a number of different species of birds.

Location

Calder Park is situated off Junction 29 of the M1, one of the main North – South motorways in the UK. Wakefield Town centre is only 4 miles from the park and both Leeds and Sheffield are only a short drive away.

Wakefield’s Westgate railway station is approximately 2 miles away and offers services to destinations such as Leeds, Sheffield, London and Birmingham.

Restrictions

  • Peel have sold off several development plots and permission would need to be sought from new owners with regards to filming on their land.
  •  Filming cannot interfere with contrsuction on the site.

Accessibility

Easy access to the business park. Access to the Nature Reserve is limited and vehicles with off-road capability needed.
