Ardrossan is a town on the North Ayrshire coast in Western Scotland. Clydeports have two main interests in the town, one of which being Ardrossan Harbour. The harbour is Clydeport’s main centre for ferry traffic, with over 630,000 passengers using the Ardrossan-Brodick (Isle of Arran) crossing each year. The harbour is also home to a picturesque marina accommodating 250 berths, with 2 roll-on/roll-off berths and a quayside berth for larger vessels located in the outer harbour.
Clyderport’s other interest is Clyde Marina, the regeneration element of Ardrossan Harbour which links the waterfront and the town centre. The modern development spans 40 acres of waterfront land and includes the yacht marina, improvements to the public realm and the first phase of residential properties
Ardrossan is 29 miles from Glasgow City Centre, and can be reached via the M77/A77 or A713. A new bypass has recently been completed and provides convenient access to Clyde Marina. Rail services are provided either by the Ardrossan Harbour station, adjacent to the ferry terminal, or via Ardrossan Town, a few minutes’ walk away. Services link with Glasgow Central and Paisley Gilmour Street as well as local towns.
Good access to marina and residential developments. Vehicles not able to reach beaches.
