Description

16 Robertson Street is the head office of Clyde Ports Ltd. The building is a fine example of the work of architect Sir John James Burnet, who designed both the exterior and much of the interior and furnishings.

The building was completed in 1886 and was extended in the early 1900’s to its present form consisting of the main entrance and four upper floors. Now included in the A list of Buildings of Historic and Special Architectural importance, 16 Robertson Street is a truly stunning building.

Internally the property has a number of finely appointed rooms featuring French walnut, stained glass, original mosaic flooring and gold leaf ornamentation.

Robertson Street is a one way street accessible from Argyle Street, located in the heart of Glasgow’s business district. Junction 19 of the M8 is situated approximately half a mile away and Glasgow Central Station is within 5 minutes walk.

Glasgow International Airport lies 10 miles away and can be easily accessed via the M8.
